Kids Across America Kamps • July 11-18, 2008 |

Last year 44 students went to KAA, an urban youth Christian sports camp, located
about 60 miles southwest of Branson, MO. 19 students made commitments or
recommitments to receive Christ. 11 of those students are still involved
either in our bi-weekly Bible studies, attending a church youth group, or meet
with Randy Herold once or twice each month. One family (set of parents)
has returned to the church they used to attend, due to the spiritual impact the
camp has had on their son. |

This summer we plan to take 50 students to KAA. 21 of them will receive
complete scholarships at the rate of $300 each. Without financial aid they
would never experience this spiritual, life impacting week. |
|
|
|
Each student who receives a scholarship is expected to do 20 hours of Community
Service work and attend church or weekly youth group for 7 weeks.
Hopefully this initiation will get some of the "un-churched" kids involved in a
local church. |
